We are officially in Baby Prep Mode over here at the Parlett Residence and I’m still feeling all of the feelings! We had our baby shower this past weekend and received so many wonderful and thoughtful gifts. I thought it was about time I shared What’s on Our Baby Registry with you and some of the items we have purchased in preparation for Baby Parlett’s arrival in just less than two months!

First off, I wanted to share that we decided to register with Babylist and I am SO pleased with our experience. At first, I was going to register through Amazon but had quite a bit of trouble adding their widget to my browser bar. I decided to through in the towel on that and look for other options.

Babylist has been a dream. Not only was the widget easy to add to my browser bar, but it has an app that is user friendly and has tons of information. We have watched video reviews, shopped their registry guides and added items from our favorite websites. For most items, it will show shoppers prices from mainstream retailers, such as Amazon, Babylist, Walmart, Buy Buy Baby, Target and more. It makes it easy for shoppers to find the best price and for you to track your items and assemble your thank you notes! Also, it has a countdown to your due date in days so that is pretty exciting!!

I have loved Babylist so much that I just wanted to share that with you in case your are struggling, as I did, to find out the best options out there! Now, onto What’s On Our Baby Registry!

What’s On Our Baby Registry

Obviously, it will take a little trial and error. Every baby is different and something someone else baby might love your baby might despise, or so I have heard! So, we did our best to try to research what items were popular, what aligned with our aesthetic, and what we loved and thought would be the best option for our lifestyle. Here is what we chose.

This obviously does not cover everything, but we did choose to purchase several things ourselves or they have been kindly gifted by my parents (crib, mattress and dresser). I hope to share a nursery tour after he is born. I don’t think the nursery will be 100% complete when he arrives, but it is slowly coming together!

We still need several pieces for his nursery but hopefully it will all come together soon! Also, I think I might keep the glider downstairs in our master bedroom for a bit before moving it up to his room, just for night time nursing comfort!

Naturally, more I will share more pieces over time! Baby blankets, specific clothing, etc, but for now, I just wanted to share with you some of the bigger ticket items and baby care essentials that we have prepped with!

I would love to keep sharing baby content, but don’t want to baby you out! So be sure to let me know if this is something that you want to see included more. Also, what were your favorite baby buys?! Be sure to share so we can pick those up too!

Next up, I need to get my hospital bag packed! lol

The muslin blankets/swaddles are perfect. Kenton still has to have one (his poppy he’s calls them). Halo sleep sacks are a must as well. That’s all kenton used until he was walking. LOVE them! So exciting! We hope to get to VA this spring something once this virus stuff dies down. Hope we can see you when we make it up there. Love reading your posts and your vlogs. Can’t wait to see pics of the baby!
