Lifestyle

Just like that, our trip to Miami has come and gone! Although I intended this post to go live, prior to leaving for our trip, I just got busy and the time slipped away from me. Needless to say, I still wanted to share with you What I packed For Miami and I will be hauling more items on my Youtube channel next week!

What I Packed For Miami

I thought it would be fun to highlight some of the items that I packed for the trip, especially the ones that I ended up wearing the most! When it comes to packing, I have really been trying to hone in and limited what I pack. I have a tendency to overpack, so I really tried to simplify packing this time but I still wound up bringing eight pairs of shoes for a 5-day trip. Like I said, I have a problem!

Either way, the weather in Miami was beautiful but very windy! I bought a ton of dresses that I thought would really suit the Miami atmosphere and unfortunately, they didn’t fit the wind! I will share all of those in my haul video, but for now, I wanted to share with you what I wore the most! We stayed at the beautiful 1Hotel South Beach and the rooms and pools were picture perfect.

Swimwear

I purchased three new swimsuits form Net-a-Porter for our trip and it was honestly about time I invested in some new swimsuits. All of mine are very dated and I never felt confident in a swimsuit, until now. The proof is in the pudding. Investing in quality, even if it’s a swimsuit is always worth it. This one is probably my favorite because it is so classy! It pairs perfectly with these pants which are a new necessity in my wardrobe. This combination is so fierce and comfortable if I might say so myself! Not only is the swimsuit beautiful, but paired with these pants the combination could be worn to any lunch spot making “cover-ups” a thing of the past!

I also purchased this suit and this suit. I love the material of this two-piece. It holds you in without cutting into you if that makes sense? I also love how the bottom isn’t “high rise” but comes up much higher than others. It makes me feel so comfortable and I adore the rose gold, shimmery color.

If you do like showing a little skin, which sometimes I do, this suit if for you! It is very Miami and cuts in all of the right places! I mean a girl has to tan her booty sometimes! It is also a lighter rose gold shade and the fabric smooths your skin like no other! It’s the perfect balance of subtle sexy. It is cut high in the back and low in the front, showing more skin than most one pieces. However, the light pink color and cute bow detailing on the back makes is feminine and classy. It’s all about balance right?

White Jeans

I have written about white jeans several times in the past so I will keep this short. Whenever I’m traveling to warmer destinations, I always wear my white jeans. This time I brought two pairs with me and I’m so glad I did. I ended up wearing these out, with this top and during the day with a t-shirt and cardigan. These are so versatile and can be dressed up easily!

Flats, Flip Flops and Pumps

As with my white jeans, I never travel without my Chanel flats. They are so comfortable, once broken in, and can easily be worn with everything from shorts, to jeans, to a dress. I got a new pair for Christmas that I brought with me and I forgot that although they are the most comfortable shoes, you do have to break them in!

I adore my Hermes sandals and definitely brought those along with me, however, I purchased these flip flops for the trip to wear to the pool and ended up wearing them all the time! They are so basic and clean cut. Not mention comfy too!

Of course, I ended up bringing way too many pairs of pumps but the two that I wore the most were my Valentino’s and my Manolo’s. Although these seem like a “little too much” I have found that I really do love a statement shoe, especially because my clothing style is a little more understated most of the time. If you have been considering either one of these shoes, I have to tell you that I wear mine far more than I ever imagined.

Neverfull

One thing I never travel without is one of my Louis Vuitton Neverfull bags. They are truly one of the best tote bags on the market and I simply adore mine. I have written a very detailed post on this bag so I will leave it at this. However, I carried my Damier Azur print for the beach! It doubles as a travel bag, pool bag, and handbag!

Cardigan

Lastly, I always have a good cardigan with me! I have several new favorites, but this one is hard to beat! You can bring them to dinner, wear them during the daytime and I never get on a plane without one!

Dresses

While I packed these two beauties (one, two) this was the only dress I wore the entire trip. We didn’t go out too much, but those dresses are so perfect for that. However, this dress has quickly become one of my favorites in my collection. It’s lightweight and perfect for cool evenings.

I hope that you enjoyed this quick post of a few of my favorite things that I packed for Miami! I can’t wait to share more of what I purchased soon! Happy Monday!
