Tropical Green Smoothie

After realizing lately just how much I love green juices and smoothies, I thought it would be fun to share my recipe for this Tropical Green Smoothie! Incorporating greens into my daily diet is not always one of my strong points.  I love all different kinds of greens, but early in the day I crave sugary foods and starches, which makes it difficult to reach for something green! To combat this struggle, I now try  to incorporate Green Smoothies into my diet more often.  If you are like me and struggle with eating healthy in the morning, I think you will really love and benefit from this post! Also, the other day I shared some ways you can refresh your home for spring and this recipe is the perfect way to refresh your diet and lifestyle too!

These days I usually just throw some spinach, or kale, frozen fruits and a little water or juice, into the blender and blend up! But if you’re new to green smoothies, you will probably prefer something with a little more sweetness and flavor, like this Tropical Green Smoothie recipe. It’s super simple and quick, plus it tastes sweet and fruity AND you are getting in your greens! What’s not to love?

One of my favorite things to, when making a smoothie, is use frozen tropical fruits! They add so much sweetness and are an assortment of yummy fruits. Usually you can find combinations something like banana, mango, pineapple, and strawberry. So delicious! I have found that when it comes to smoothies, the more you think about it, the more complicated it becomes. Try adding a handful of greens, your favorite frozen fruit, a ¼ cup of yogurt and a little juice, or water and blend! It’s not difficult and is a great snack, or a delicious and refreshing breakfast!

This recipe is a go-to favorite of mine! Like I said before, peach nectar is a delicious treat and adds a ton of sweetness! If you don’t have it on hand, just use some orange juice or your other favorite juice, like pineapple! Yum!
