I’m not sure if it’s my new darker hair color, or my the look of my favorite new booties, but I can’t seem to steer away from an edgier look this fall! This tunic is perfect and versatile! This outfit is very casual, and extremely comfortable, but I love how the leggings and booties give it a little bit of a “I’m really a bad girl” feel [if thats actually a thing-haha].

I picked up this tunic about a month ago when Jay and I went on a weekend trip to the D.C. area [see my recap here]. The first thing I look for when we are traveling is good shopping. I love being able to visit shops and stores that are not easily accessible to me. Obviously I was thrilled to be in D.C. because I love visiting Georgetown and Tyson’s, but we were staying in Alexandria and I was finally able to visit The Lucky Knot! Of course the store was even cuter than I imagined and I instantly fell in love with this tunic. The price was very reasonable and I wish I would have gotten it in another color. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a link to it, but I linked a few others. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend stopping in!

The fit of the tunic is perfect and it’s super roomy, which allows for layering [my favorite]. Paired with leggings, it can easily be transitioned from day to night. Fall has been so wonderful, especially since I am a neutrals gal, we thrive off of the colors of the season!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am very thankful to have gotten to spend the weekend with Jay’s family and explore some of our local historical sites. It’s incredible how may neat things there are to do in my area, that I pass daily, and never enjoy. I have a busy school week ahead, unfortunately, so I am off to get working on that! Happy Monday!
