Over the years, I have seen The Alchemist pop up online here, and there. It seemed to always make many of my favorite influencers “must read” lists, so I finally decided it was my turn to read The Alchemist. If we are being honest here, I didn’t even know what this book was about, I had seen it so many times I just knew that I had to give it a try. After finishing up my last book, I decided to order The Alchemist from Amazon and give it a go and I am so happy that I did.
At first thought, I couldn’t believe I was reading a fable. If you know anything about my reading habits, you can basically expect to see a thriller or personal development. After reading The Alchemist, I can firmly say that I did find it to be a personal development book. It was a story of soul searching, which I personally feel that I am on that journey and that is why I gravitate towards personal development books.
When I posted this book on my Instagram Stories, I received mixed feedback and I probably can understand why. However, I believe God put this book in my life at the very exact moment that I needed to read it. I am forever grateful for that.
Usually, I share Recent Reads blog posts, which I am far overdue for one. But, this book was so special, after reading it I had highlighted what feels like a million quotes. It only felt right to share these with you and with anyone who is considering reading this book. I found it to be a quick and easy read.
Here are some of my favorite quotes from The Alchemist, followed by the page number you can find them on.
