Let’s be real here.

I’m pretty sure that in every girl’s heart there is a “top shelf.” And on that shelf there is some Chanel, statement baubles, champagne, and chic furniture. Am I right… or is that just my heart?

As our home building process continues, I keep dreaming about picking our tile, paint colors and furniture. And even though we are still just moving dirt, that doesn’t mean a girl can’t plan ahead a bit! I’m so excited to have my own home to design and pick out each and every little detail, with the help of Jay, of course. I have always found a heard time describing my style when it comes to furniture and home decor [or really anything]. I love a little bit of everything traditional, french, coastal, pops of hot pink and we can forget a piece of cheetah print! A good mashup of everything is really what I crave, which is why I usually tend to love Shabby Chic style! Today I wanted to share some of my favorite pieces from the Chairish website, along with a few of my must have furniture and decor pieces!

First off, Chairish is an online site that allows you to buy and sell vintage, and quality, furniture, decor, jewelry and accessories. It is the perfect site for finding those unique pieces you have been lusting over! [Hence the stunning French Style Settee!] They have many different pieces to choose from varying from different styles and prices. Chairish has been featured in many of the top home magazines including Elle Decor, House Beautiful, In Style and Domaine.

While searching through the Chairish website, to find the perfect pieces for my inspiration board, I realized that there are a always a few staples that I hunt for, not matter the store or site I’m shopping from! I wanted to share with you some of those pieces and styles. Sometimes it can be hard to put together all of your favorite things, but I know that it is possible #youcandoit! I think that adding these pieces/styles to your home will allow you to express yourself vibrant while still keeping your taste timeless.

Detail Framed Mirror

I just love a gold framed mirror. There is something about a detailed mirrored that adds a richness to any space. They scream luxury and are the perfect decor piece to add to a small space [or a large space] in your home. They are great for making smaller rooms appear larger and we can’t forget a good mirror selfie.

Pretty Patterns

If you follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you have seen multiple times my favorite leopard pillows from Little Design Co. Mixing patterns has become one of my favorite things! I think I love it because I just love beautiful patterned fabrics, but also because it’s a little daring and fun to play with!

French Settee

Every girl needs a French Settee. They are like Chanel. Timeless, Classy, and Feminine. I just adore the one shown above. Plus, they are even more fabulous if you recover them in a fun fabric to instantly make them a bit more modern!

Neutral Colors

One of my friends always jokes on me for my love of neutrals! But seriously, they are my favorite. I love being able to easily mix neutral colors and they create such a calming environment. I also love neutrals because they make mixing patterns and adding pops of color that much easier!

What are your go-to home decor and furniture pieces?
