It has been quite a while since I shared a style post, here on the blog, and I thought I would bring it back with this pink silk look! These two pieces have been on repeat in my daily wardrobe this spring. I’m such a sucker for basic pieces but have been doing my best to elevate the basics, to make them a little more feminine and delicate. If you know what I mean? I’m making my basics, not so basic!
Pink is naturally a favorite and silk is just so classic, and feminine. Combine those two together and this pink silk combo has me feeling a little whimsical! I purchased these two pieces a couple of weeks ago from Net-a-Porter during their sale, along with this bra to complete the look. After a quick glance, I noticed that they are all still on sale, so if you are interested I would snag them, here, before they are gone.
Pink Silk Cami
I have been lusting over Cami NYC and their beautiful selection of camis for quite a while. Megan Runion, from For All Things Lovely, always pulls off the most effortlessly chic looks, wearing silk camis. I was inspired to try my own hand at this look and personalize it to my style. Naturally, pink silk was my first option but I might have to pick up olive color for fall! If you love wearing tanks and camis in the summer, but feel that they are often more suited for daytime, I would highly suggest giving these a try!
This beautiful pink silk shirt was also a Net-a-Porter purchase and is definitely not a style that is in my typical shopping cart. However, I am so pleased with the quality of this shirt. I might have to grab another one of these too! Here I paired this top with distressed denim, but it can be styled easily with any outfit. You could wear it to work tucked into a pair of dress pants or a pencil skirt. I have also worn it with white jeans and that might just be my favorite combo. Either way, this top is beautiful!
Comfortable is probably an understatement. This top is silky soft, pun intended, and has a beautiful glossy finish to it! I wouldn’t say that this is oversized, however, if you want a tighter fit, I would size down.
What pieces do you turn to, to uplevel your basics? I would love to know! Happy Monday!
