Holiday
To be able to decorate my Master Bedroom for Christmas is truly such a blessing. For years, before owning our own home, Jay and I would help each other decorate our bedrooms at our parent’s houses. Decorating our home and master bedroom for Christmas is almost surreal and something I will never take for granted. Tiffany came over a couple of weeks ago to take some pictures and there were so many beautiful shots, I wanted to break up our Christmas Home Tour and share our master bedroom separately.
When we were building our home I knew that I wanted lot’s of light colors and cool tones. I wanted our home to be peaceful and I definitely feel that it is. Our master bedroom was the one room in the house that I truly wanted everything to be soft and light. I want it to feel relaxing and homelike. Like a breath of fresh air after a long day or the warmth of the sun on your face in the morning. As we were decorating our home for Christmas, we decided to pull some Christmas decor into our master bedroom. Looking back, I’m so thankful that we did.
I have enjoyed wrapping presents by the fire, we sit with our coffee in these chairs beside the tree and watch our pup play with his favorite penguin toy each day. Christmas is such a reminder to be thankful for what we have. I am thankful for so many things in my life, including this space!
