Last week, I shared a quick little survey for Timeless Taste readers and a solid portion of the responses requested more everyday lifestyle content. I thought I would start with my go-to power breakfast recipe. I’m not someone who generally loves breakfast food. Every now and then I will get a real craving for breakfast. But, honestly, most of the time I would rather have a big coffee and wait for lunch.

On days when I need a solid meal in the morning, this is one of my go-to recipes. Although, I wouldn’t really consider this a recipe post. I guess maybe just more lifestyle content! Either way, I hope this inspires you when you are looking for something healthy in the morning. To be transparent, I think I jacked this recipe from an interview with Rosie Huntington Whiteley (we all know she’s my girl crush) and adapted it to fit my life!

My Go-To Power Breakfast

My go-to power breakfast looks like two boiled eggs, sliced and lightly salted with Himalayan pink salt. I love purchasing Vital Farms cage-free organic eggs. Cage-free is really important for me now. I didn’t fully understand the difference until last year.

1 slice of Barely Bread toasted with a little ghee spread on top and half of a smashed avocado. Also, a sprinkle of Himalayan pink salt!

I hope that even though this post was short, that you still found it helpful. If you like quicker reads, like this, be sure to let me know. I would love to include shorter posts if you enjoy them. Also, please leave any post requests in a comment below! This year, I would like to continue to include more lifestyle posts. I actually really love reading more lifestyle inspired content from other blogs. If there are any specific topics you would like to see, be sure to send them my way!

What is your go-to power breakfast?

I love this idea Morgan, usually I just eat the boiled eggs. On weekends
I make my little egg bites, which are beaten eggs with spinach, salt, and pepper. I baked the bite size portions in a muffin pan for about 10 minutes. I snack on them all day.
