Mockneck Sweater for Valentine

Top: Madewell | Pants: Mother | Shoes: Chanel | Brooch: Chanel

Bag: Saint Laurent | Earrings: David Yurman

For a month now, I have had this sweater on my list of things to shoot and share here on the blog. This mauve colored mockneck sweater from Madewell has been my go-to since Christmas and I literally have to stop myself from wearing it multiple days in a row. People are probably starting to think I’m crazy, but I really just love it that much. I know for a fact you have seen this sweater multiple times on my snapchat, Youtube Channel and my Instagram, but it has never been properly displayed here on the blog and it definitely deserves it’s own post.

After giving it some thought, I wanted to put together a casual date night look for Valentine’s Day. Sometimes it’s nice to just have a comfortable dinner with your man, or girlfriends. Also, if you’re anything like me, you know that 50 Shades Darker debuts on Valentine’s Day and you may, or may not, have been planning to see that for months now! I see you girl! So with that in mind, who wants to wear a cute cocktail dress to the movie theatre? Not me! Instead, I thought I would opt for some cream colored jeans, paired with the most perfect mauve mock neck sweater and chic flats. It says that your elegant, dressed appropriately and don’t feel the need to over do it on V-Day. I’m definitely still all for that cute little dress!

My love with this sweater will not end anytime soon and I have been considering picking up one of the other colors too. It’s on clearance right now so its the perfect time to get it on sale before its gone, so I would totally get to shopping!
