Setting the perfect Fall Table is much easier than it may appear, so don’t get discouraged. Today I am going to share a few tips with you to make setting your Fall Table quick, easy, and fun. So be sure to stick around for the entire post!
I have been really looking forward to posting this for quite some time! Over the past few weeks we have talked about my love for Fall, share some fun activities, a delicious dessert recipe, a DIY, outfits, beauty and more. But, what I have been longing to share is a good table setting. Maybe it’s my inner Barefoot Contessa [I just love her] or my obsession with decorating and having fun little parties. Either way, I have been dying to share with you a Fall table setting! In my opinion, there is nothing better during the Fall season than spending time with your family over a good meal, [good wine], and a beautiful table! It doesn’t have to be hard and can take you only a few short minutes to pull something together!
We all already know about my obsession with gold, but I cannot tell you just how much I use this gold cake stand [see more on that here] that belongs to my mom. It is obviously great for cakes, but can also be used for so many other decorating purposes! When I began working on this tablescape, and even brainstorming ideas of how I wanted it to look, I knew that I wanted to bring the outside in, have some fall pieces and incorporate white and gold. I think I was definitely able to accomplish all three!
I picked up some little pumpkins, [I’m not exactly sure what kind these are, but I am obsessed with them], and also some white pumpkins, at a local produce stand. Clipped some rosemary and some small branches from some of our bushes and arranged them all together. I love the combination of silver and gold, so I added some small silver candles sticks on each side of the cake stand, to hold white candles that tie in with the cream colored Lenox plates. Lastly, I added a few white roses in a small vase.
This tablescape is easy because you can make it your own, by using what ever pretty things you can find around your yard! I love the idea of bringing the outdoors in, for a whimsical or garden feel. For each setting I used gold rimmed Lenox plates with my gold West Elm flatware [that I cannot live without] to add a nice gold touch. To still keeps things casual and comfortable, I used some wooden/wicker placemats[similar here] and some small string, that looks like rope, to tie a few rosemary sprigs to a white napkin!
That’s it, easy at pumpkin pie!
Here are a few easy tips to keep in mind when setting your table this fall!
Add some small pumpkins and try some different than your normal orange ones.
Mix gold and silver. This will give you a warm yet clean feel.
Bring the outdoors in.
Vary the heights of your different decor pieces, this really makes for a catchy look and your guest will think you hired someone to set your table!
Keep it comfortable and simple.
I hope that you enjoyed this post! What is your favorite way to decorate your table for fall?
