This past weekend Jay took me on an adventurous and romantic overnight getaway to D.C.! While we didn’t have loads of time, we definitely made the most of our trip! Many yummy meals, lot’s of shopping for me, and my favorite, our wonderful stay at The W Washington D.C. Hotel!
The vibe of the hotel was so fun and flirty. Our stay was over the top from the start. From the black and white marble lobby, to the fabulously lit chandeliers, and even the bath and shower products were from Bliss! Let’s just say, this won’t be my last stay at The W Washington D.C. I want to share with you a few pictures from our stay along, including our Breakfast in Bed, which will make the perfect addition to your Sunday morning this Valentine’s Day!
I have always been a huge fan of Breakfast in Bed, and especially room service! There is just something luxurious about having your latte, and eggs benedict, served on a tray and enjoying it whilst in your p.j.’s. Since Valentine’s Day is on a Sunday this year, I feel that serving Breakfast in Bed is the perfect romantic gift to give your hubby, or wifey. Whip them up some delicious waffles, eggs benedict, or French toast to complete your morning in!
At The W Washington D.C., Jay and I both had Eggs Benedicts, Vanilla Latte’s, and Pain Au Chocolat. Everything was divine and gave us the perfect start to our morning. There is always something about miniature-sized items that gets me every time! It doesn’t matter if it is tiny ketchup bottles, small jam jars, or even travel sized deodorant, I just love things in little packaging! So, obviously, there is no explanation needed for how much I loved all of the little condiments!
Of course, Instagram pictures are always a must! They are definitely necessary when your breakfast is as photogenic as ours was! You can see more pictures of our stay on my Instagram Account and I have a new blog hashtag which is #TimelessTasteTravels! Also, my pajamas are from one of my favorite local boutiques, Lowe Tide [follow them on Instagram here]! If you are in the VA area, be sure to stop in Lowe Tide which is located in urban! The ladies there are SO nice, and their shop has everything a girl needs, including my favorite Faceplant Dreams pajamas. Seriously, you need these in your life!
Our stay at The W Washington D.C. was amazing and the perfect addition to my Birthday weekend! I hope to travel back soon, but for now, these pictures of the swoon worthy crown molding in the lobby will have to do!
Have you stayed at The W?
