This Black Romper is a Date Night Essential

I know I’m not the only one who is happy to see Friday, (or even Thursday), role around each week. The weekend has arrived and I’m ready for a date night with my hubby. Whether we decide to go out or just stay in, it doesn’t really matter to me! Lately, I have found myself gravitating towards this black romper, that  I have had for a couple of years now. It’s the ultimate date night outfit because not only is it chic, but it always makes getting dressed so easy!

Sometimes I get anxiety about feeling overdressed for wherever we are going out to dinner in our area. On vacation, girl I dress how I want! But for some reason, I always feel overdressed when we go out on a date to a local spot. I love having the opportunity to put on my favorite heels and wear a cute dress, but sometimes I feel like people look at me thinking, “Who does she think she is?” If you get this feeling too, this black romper will solve your problem! It’s the perfect combination of dressy, but still tame at the same time, if you know what I mean?

Whenever I wear this romper I always feel so flirty and confident, which is what makes it the pick perfect for a date night! Over the past several months of marriage and home ownership, and to be honest just pure adulting, I have truly found the significance of dating your husband. It’s so important to go out together, or stay home, and get lost in a good meal and conversation. A little wine also makes it fun too! I so appreciate every moment with Jay and really love going out with him and enjoying a little dinner date.

What are you looking forward to most this week? Happy Friday friends!

You look beautiful! Both this, and the white dress, are such classic pieces, I’m sure you’ll enjoy wearing them for multiple occasions! I understand the battle over wondering if others are judging you over what you’re wearing. Remember though, it’s probably out of jealousy and is their problem. Keep enjoying wearing your pretty things.
And you’re so right about the importance of dating your husband! Thirty two years of marriage later, and we still love date night!
