The Home

Easter is one of my favorite holiday’s to celebrate for several reasons. I remember dying Easter eggs with my dad growing up, hunting for the eggs in the yard, enjoying food with family and in all reality, who doesn’t love a little bunny? This year, Easter looks and feels so much different for us and for many people around the world. Despite the state of things, I wanted to bring a little joy to you and share All Things Easter to inspire you to enjoy the season despite the challenges we might be facing.

In years past, my mom has hosted a Ladies Easter Luncheon, for all the women in the family. This lunch something I look forward to every year and I miss my family so much. Snacking on our favorite foods, drinking wine and laughing together is something I love so much.

This year, Jay and I are prepping for the arrival of our little Baby Parlett. What a time to bring a new baby into the world?! I won’t harp on all the things I’m missing this Easter, but instead share a few cute finds with you that have inspired me! After making my way through Baby Shower gifts, I have cleared off our dining room table and I’m going to set it with my Easter tableware this afternoon. I can’t help but wonder if we will have a baby on Easter this year or if he will arrive after his due date (April 15th).

What are you doing to make Easter special with your family this year?

I hope that Easter this year will make us stop and be even more grateful for our blessings. With all that is going on in the world right now, I pray that Easter will bring hope and promise to us all.

Take care of yourself and your special blessing!

That is such a great prayer, Monica! I couldn’t agree more! While there are so many troubles, I am really seeing the silver lining in slowing down and appreciating the simple things. It has been a necessary reminder for me!

Happy Easter! I hope you and your family have a safe and healthy Easter! <3
