If you follow me on Snapchat, Instagram, or basically any of my social media outlets, you would now that my mom, Jay, Worm and I, went to a Christmas Tree Farm on Sunday! It was our first time ever actually going to cut down our tree and let me tell you, we had so much fun! I definitely think that this is going to be a new family tradition. It was so exciting that for our very first tree together (even thought we always decorated my little white tree at my parents house together) going to physically cut down the tree was such a joyful experience, that I don’t think neither of us will forget.

I’m so glad my mom talked us into getting our tree there too. Originally, Jay and I went to help my mom with hers, because she just had in her mind she wanted to cut down her tree this year! Last year, she found some type of cedar tree (very similar to the ones we ended up getting) in a Williams-Sonoma magazine and has been calling all around trying to find a similar artificial tree. We decided to give going to a Christmas Tree Farm a try, to see if we would be able to find a prettier tree, than at the local lots. Boy did we find some pretty ones! Needless to say, we had such a great time picking our tree and driving it home. I would say we had fun cutting it down, but I could only speak for my mom and I, because Jay did the entirety of the cutting! Of course, us two had fun watching, but I’m not sure about Jay! Lol

I know I usually don’t post more than one outfit post a week, or really one every two weeks, but I wasn’t ready to shoot the pictures for the post I had scheduled for today, quite yet. I still have a few things I need to pick up before I shoot those, so hopefully I will get them done today, or tomorrow. That way I will be able to have the planned post up by Friday, or Monday of next week! I am so excited to share a few pictures of our home for the holidays, even though it’s still pretty empty without furniture!

Anyways, my current outfit has been comfy jeans, anything red and my favorite Hunter boots! I love them so much, that I decided to get a red pair for the holidays! Hopefully, they will come in the mail today. I have had my eye on them for quite some time, so I’m pretty excited that I finally plunged and bought them!

What was your favorite Black Friday/Cyber Monday purchase?

My favorite part is that your mom is included in this post! She’s so cute. Where is the watch from that you’re wearing in these pictures? I don’t see it in the widget. Thanks!

Thank you Laura! We had so much fun! I wasn’t sure if it would be worth it, but it totally was. We were able to get a beautiful tree for a great price! Thank you for stopping by my blog:)
